Beauty & the Beast

The growing power of the beast,
Frightens beating constant of a heart,
Senses heighten, fears enlighten,
Heart beating in a silent steady art,
Only once blood satisfied will cease.

'Tis but a greedy monster's game.
A last battle effort to the mind,
Inevitable fate, future's debate,
Longing for one last day kind,
Lusting for an empty stomach's gain.

Beast is evaded no longer
Beauty crumpling to the floor,
Morphing what once pure, life's permanent cure,
A new reign achieved crowning once more,
The strong always looses to stronger.

Soles and Souls

Splintered feet prevent eyes from new sights
Birds fly and soar, smiling as they go by.
Escaping, riding the wind
that sways with the long grass
My hair flutters
Bruised soles only allow thorns to grow
slowly creeping over a resting body, covering,
draining a living thing into a living corpse
If I die in this field leave me,
sleeping amid the wild flowers
dancing in the breeze
put a gravestone by my side,
engraved:
Bruised soles, breaking souls

Oasis

In the middle of the sand graveyard,
a pure salt oasis lies.
With little schools of red and gold,
swimming, glimmering,
in light from the lethal sun,
bending in the toxic waters.
Fish prospering in hostile territory,
perish not in this desert.

Leave me with life,
as I breathe my
last.
Leave bright glittering images
to remember when eyes close
lethargically.
Leave me with a hope
I've meant more than simply
a dreamer
lost.
Leave my with my last breath
to savor, to forget, to
loose.
Leave me alone
to sleep for a hundred years,
lonely.

If ever a stranger comes
to discover the unknown,
hold me as a memory
warning not to invest fully in dreams,
loved.

Asylumn of Bone

Blank page,
   despite inner furious rage
White curved walls,
   surrounding violent brawls
Empty life,
   massacred by tounge's knife
Steadied hand,
desperate to discover a new land
To king from slave,
entrance through a fresh dug grave
